It is with great sadness that we inform you that Dr. James W. Fisher, previously Regents Professor and Chairman of Pharmacology at Tulane University School of Medicine until his retirement, died May 1, 2016. Jim was a great leader, scientist, teacher, mentor, and friend. He is survived by his loving wife, Mrs. Maryann Fisher, and many children and grandchildren.
